Grandma & Papa Meet Maysa!

Well, we finally were able to get to Idaho to meet the newest member of the Lee family tree - Maysa Linea Lee! Grandma still had the touch. I put her right to sleep. We are excited to be here and give those long awaited hugs and kisses!

Super Bowl Party in the new house!

We had a Super Bowl Party in the new house. A family friend, Ellen, Erin, Tony, Liam, Sarah, Hannah, Doug and Carl and I were in attendance. We had a wonderful time enjoying our new space and sharing our new home with the family. Go Green Bay! There was a friendly wager between Carl and Hannah. Hannah owes us dinner at Carver's~ Woohoo!

Doug Ran the Marathon!

Today we cheered loudly as Doug approached the finish line of the P. F. Chang Marathon! He completed the 26.2 miles in 4 hours and 16 minutes! Better than he actually expected. Erin, Tony and Liam joined Carl and I near the finish line to watch for him and cheer him on! What a great accomplishment! We are so proud of him! More pictures to come.

Did you have your new year's feast?

It is a southern tradition to have collard greens and black eyed peas for the meal on New Year's Day. My Grandma White would always call on New Year's Day to be sure we had some or she would bring some over to us. Collard greens for green bax and black eyed peas for good health. I added potatoes and corny cornbread to round out the meal. Gavin enjoyed the dinner with Carl and I.
Hope you all had your greens and peas to insure a healthy, wealthy new year!
